The Lateral Bend Stretch

Written by

There is much to do in the garden as Spring gets fully underway...

The Lateral Bend Stretch can be very beneficial for warming up the muscles before starting any physical work in the garden.

It aims to increase flexibility and mobility to the lower back muscles, abdominal and oblique muscles, also the ligaments of the lower back.

The exercise can also be beneficial after a heavy day of gardening as it reduces tightness of muscles.
